寨下大峡谷，不仅是植物的王国，也是一个天然的地质博物馆。当你流连其中，你会惊讶地发现，不同地质时代的地貌在这里交错，你的左侧可能是凝固的数亿年变质岩，而你的右侧则是6500万年前的沉积岩，游历其中，仿佛穿行于时空隧道里，直让人有不知今夕何夕的感觉。
同时，这里又是山谷的集中营，可以说，有山就有谷，万谷成寨下，峡谷构成了街道，巷谷如同里弄，线谷则时时成就一线天。这是万谷归一的地方，可以毫不夸张地说：寨下归来不看谷。
The Zhaixia Big Canyon is not only a plant kingdom, but also a natural geologic museum. When you wander in the canyon, you will be surprised at the crisscross of the rocks of different eras. The metamorphic rocks on your left hand side may be solidified hundreds of million years ago, but just on your right hand side, there would be the sedimentary rocks deposited just 65 million years ago. Wandering through the canyon would make you feel just like walking in a temporal-spatial tunnel and confuse the chronology.
In addition, the Zhaixia Big Canyon is an assemblage of valleys. It can be said that it is the valleys that form the Zhaixia Big Canyon. Comparing the canyon to a wide street, the valleys then just like alleys and extremely-narrow valleys (linear valleys) form a spectacle called A-thread-of-sky, because you can only see a linear sky while you are in the valley. This is really the canyon that can hold tens of thousand valleys. It can be said without exaggeration that one will never want to see canyon again after visiting the Zhaixia Big Canyon. |
